In 2005, Kris acquired His degree from a highly respectable University where He studied Information Architecture And Systems Design, with a minor in Intellectual Property Law. In His years shortly following graduation,  He quickly realized the old and tired structure of the Corporate world was not for him. And so He set forth with a driven interest to work in any startup He could, bringing as much help as I could to the marketing and business development that He could, while also bringing His technical formal education to the table. 

 

He gained experience working with several software and web-based service firms in Toronto in various roles such as a Content and Website Administrator while on the side building basic but effective patient/client management solutions for Lawyers and Doctors as a side business.  These opportunities were memorable for Him as the challenge gave Him great experience to learn about solution delivery for a profession He was not too familiar with but while providing the opportunity wherein He was also able to exercise the knowledge gained from His earlier formal studies.

With the advent of social media and just about everything about marketing and branding going digital, He was quick to realize the need for businesses of all kinds to take  social media as a communications channel much more seriously. In 2008, He returned to pursuing formal studies in Digital Mass Communications. Acknowledging the natural talent for writing, He was quick to grasp on emerging social technologies along with just knowing how "all that stuff works" was quickly evident not only to myself but also friends and other colleagues. Not long after which, He made the critical change to shift His professional focus from to enter the field of Digital Communications and Marketing, confident that He could find a way to successfully leverage on a natural skill set for writing and marketing though backed by 5 years+ of a highly technical formal education He had already acquired. He has since developed a voracious appetite to study and put into practice all that He possible can in this crazy and constantly evolving profession.

In late 2013, He moved to the Philippines where He currently live just south of Metro Manila. He found an appreciation of the local culture, the exploding enthusiasm in emerging technology and the startups that leverage it, plus plenty of other aspects of a great work-life culture all while being exposed to the infectious, and energetic work-ethic that is not found anywhere else in South Eastern Asia.
